2017 Jean-Yves Peron Vicini 'Dolcetto'

Jean-Yves Peron is a young winemaker tending 100-year-old vines in France. His approach is organic and biodynamic, with minimal intervention over his 3.5 hectares of Mondeuse and Jacquere, as well as Altesse and Roussanne. Peron's 2017 Dolcetto drinks with a distinctly 'Italian' nose, and has a fruit-driven, full-bodied finish - which is unsurprising given the three and a half month maceration. Yum times from Savoie.
